‘Iran holds main short film festival in ME’

Director of the 34th Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF) has called the event the main short film festival across the Middle East.

TISFF serves as the main short film festival across the Middle East, said Seyyed Sadegh Mousavi, adding, “34 years of holding short film festivals has left us with invaluable experience.”

The director also said that the festival “serves as a window and venue to discover and identify talents in short film industry. That is the reason why the TISFF is of great importance in short film industry.”

“Fortunately, short films have become Iran’s signature in the film industry across the globe,” Mousavi added.

The 34th Tehran International Short Film Festival is currently underway and will end on October 22 in the Iranian capital city.

Organized by the Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS), the festival is held to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.
